MYR1.47 billion pre-conditional voluntary conditional offer for OldTown Berhad by Jacobs Douwe Egberts B.V.
Allen & Gledhill and Rahmat Lim & Partners advised Jacobs Douwe Egberts Holdings Asia NL B.V. (“JDE Holdings Asia”) and Jacobs Douwe Egberts B.V. (“JDE”) on the approximately MYR1.47 billion pre-conditional voluntary conditional general offer to acquire all the issued ordinary shares of OldTown Berhad (“OldTown”).
Allen & Gledhill also advised on the intellectual property (“IP”) due diligence on the IP assets of OldTown across 11 jurisdictions and conducted a detailed analysis of the coverage of its trade mark rights in the markets.
JDE Holdings Asia is the wholly-owned subsidiary of JDE.
