Issuance of MYR260 million in nominal value of ASEAN Green SRI Sukuk based on the Shariah principle of Murabahah
Partner Kelvin Loh of Rahmat Lim & Partners advised OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad as principal adviser, lead arranger and lead manager in relation to the issuance of ASEAN Green SRI Sukuk of MYR260 million in nominal value based on the Shariah principle of Murabahah (via Tawarruq arrangement) by Solar Management (Seremban) Sdn. Bhd. (“Issuer”) to, inter alia, re-finance a credit facility obtained by the Issuer in respect of the development, operation and maintenance of a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 50MWac in Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. The issuance of the ASEAN Green SRI Sukuk is in compliance with the SRI Sukuk Framework and the ASEAN Green Bonds Standard.
