Acquisition of MBO Cinemas' assets
Advised Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn. Bhd. (“GSC”), the largest Malaysian cinema company, in its acquisition of a majority of cinema assets from the operators of the MBO chain of cinemas (i.e. MCAT Box Office Sdn. Bhd. and Reel Entertainment Holdings Sdn. Bhd., both in creditors’ voluntary winding-up), through a bid process ran by the liquidator.
Advising GSC was Partner Ho Wei Lih.
