The International Arbitration Review (13th Ed, 2022): Malaysia Chapter
Partner Yap Yeow Han, Senior Associate Lilian Saw and Associates Yap Mei Yan, Bryan Wang and Prabjit Dev Singh of Rahmat Lim & Partners contributed the Malaysia chapter to The International Arbitration Review (13th Ed, 2022), published by Law Business Research Ltd. The chapter provides an overview of international arbitration in Malaysia and covers topics including the legal framework for international arbitration in Malaysia, the 2011 and 2018 amendments to the 2005 Act, judicial assistance and intervention, the enforcement and setting aside of arbitral awards, international and domestic arbitration, arbitral institutions in Malaysia, developments in Malaysia affecting international arbitration and local courts, as well as investor-state disputes.
