Advised Maybank Islamic Berhad in relation to commodity murabahah term financing facilities made available to Kwasa Properties Sdn. Bhd. and Ombak Real Estate Sdn. Bhd. respectively to part-finance the purchase of certain assets pursuant to a sale and leaseback transaction entered into by the customers for a manufacturing facility in Kulim Hi-tech Park, Kedah.
This deal was awarded “M&A Deal of the Year” at the Thomson Reuter Asian Legal Business (ALB) Malaysia Law Awards 2024.
