Admission of New Partner 2025
The Partners of Rahmat Lim & Partners are pleased to announce that Aravind Kumarr has joined the Firm as a Partner in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice, effective 1 June 2025.
Aravind has extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution, with a focus on corporate and commercial litigation, cross-border disputes, restructuring and insolvency, and international arbitration. He has successfully led numerous full trials, hearings, and appeals before the Malaysian courts, and has appeared as counsel in several high value disputes in the international arbitration scene including before the ICC International Court of Arbitration, and in the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
He regularly advises on complex cross-border disputes involving foreign entities, including those arising from various commercial arrangements. His work includes acting for non-Malaysian clients in Malaysian proceedings and providing legal opinions on novel points of Malaysian law for use in foreign court proceedings, including before the Singapore High Court.
We are confident that his appointment will further strengthen and enhance our Firm’s capabilities in Malaysia.
