Partner Penny Wong contributed the Malaysia chapter to The International Comparative Legal Guide to Cartels & Leniency 2026 (19th Ed), published by Global Legal Group Ltd, London. The chapter covers the legislative framework of cartel prohibition, investigative powers, sanctions on companies and individuals, leniency for companies, whistle-blowing procedures for individuals, plea bargaining arrangements, the appeal process against the decision of the Malaysia Competition Commission and damages actions for loss suffered as a result of cartel conduct.
