Rahmat Lim & Partners advised on Award-Winning APAC Biomass Deal of the Year
A transaction on which Rahmat Lim & Partners advised has been recognised at the IJGlobal Asia Pacific Awards 2025, held in Singapore on 16 April 2025. The Firm received the Biomass Deal of the Year (APAC) award under the Transaction Awards category.
In this transaction, the Firm advised the lenders on a term loan facility and hedging facilities granted to Greenverse Sdn. Bhd., in connection with the development of an integrated scheduled waste management plant at the Kerteh Biopolymer Park in Terengganu.
The project marks a significant step in advancing sustainable waste management infrastructure in Malaysia. The facility is expected to enhance the treatment, recycling, and recovery of scheduled waste across the East Coast Economic Region, while contributing to the broader industrial ecosystem in Kerteh.
