Privatisation by way of a scheme of arrangement of ESR Group Limited
Advised ESR Group Limited (“ESR”), as Malaysian counsel, in relation to its privatisation by way of a scheme of arrangement. ESR is a leading Asia-Pacific real asset owner and manager focused on logistics real estate, data centres, and energy infrastructure that support the digital economy and supply chains for investors, customers, and communities. Following the privatisation, ESR is now owned by a new shareholder group comprising Starwood Capital Group, SSW Partners, Sixth Street, Warburg Pincus, Qatar Investment Authority, and ESR’s founders (collectively, “Consortium”).
This deal was awarded “Deal of the Year 2025” by China Business Law Journal.
