Private placement by CapitaLand Malaysia Trust to raise proceeds of RM250 million
Advised CapitaLand Malaysia Trust (“CLMT”) in respect of a private placement of up to 435,400,000 new units in CLMT (“Units”), representing approximately 14.9% of the total number of Units-in-issue, raising gross cash proceeds of up to RM250 million at an issue price determined by way of bookbuilding, including the proposed allotment to CLMT’s sponsors and major unitholders.
This deal was awarded the “19th Deal & Solution: Best REIT Deal of the Year in Malaysia 2025” at the Alpha Southeast Asia Awards 2025 and was highly commended in the “Best Equity Deal (Malaysia)” category at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards 2025.
