US$283 million green financing for DDSP’s data centre in Johor
Acted as Malaysian legal counsel to the borrower, DDSP, on a landmark US$283 million green financing facility arranged by CTBC Bank, MUFG, and Standard Chartered (as mandated lead arrangers, underwriters, and bookrunners) and EnTie Commercial Bank (as mandated lead arranger) for DDSP’s hyperscale data centre campus in Johor, Malaysia.
The green loan structure will fund the development of a 45MW built-to-suit hyperscale campus located within the Sedenak Tech Park, one of South-east Asia’s fastest growing digital infrastructure corridors. Notably, the campus incorporates next-generation, closed-loop liquid cooling technology and an AI-ready high density compute environment.
Advising DDSP were Partner Kelvin Loh and Principal Kimberley Yee.
