We are pleased to announce that Rahmat Lim & Partners has been awarded Best Syndicated Loan – Transport at The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2026. The recognition highlights the Firm’s role advising the syndicate of financiers on Weststar Aviation Services’ RM4.86 billion syndicated Shariah-compliant financing facility.
The multi-billion ringgit facility was structured to part-finance the acquisition of helicopters leased to Malaysian government agencies under a long-term concession agreement.
The transaction was led by Partners Rashid Alsree and Vivien Yeow.
