Securities Commission issues revised Guidelines on Unlisted Capital Market Products under the Lodge and Launch Framework introducing new chapter on ASEAN Sustainability-Linked bonds and sukuk

On 28 October 2022, the SC issued a revised version of the Guidelines on Unlisted Capital Market Products under the Lodge and Launch Framework and introduced a new chapter on ASEAN Sustainability-Linked bonds and sukuk, and its requirements of issuance.

The amendments are as follows:

• The relevant requirements for ASEAN Sustainability-Linked bonds and sukuk have been incorporated into Table 1 of Chapter 1 (General) under Part 3 (Corporate Bonds and Sukuk) of Section B (Specific Requirements).
• A new Chapter 10 has been inserted to set out the requirements pertaining to the issuance of ASEAN Sustainability-Linked bonds and sukuk under Part 3 (Corporate Bonds and Sukuk) of Section B (Specific Requirements).
