Advised OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad as mandated lead arranger, facility agent, security agent and original financier, HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad and Maybank Islamic Berhad as mandated lead arrangers and original financiers in connection with the syndicated Shariah-compliant sustainability-linked facilities of up to RM282.6 million based on the Shariah principle of Murabahah (via Tawarruq arrangement) obtained by Central Medicare Sdn. Bhd., a rubber glove manufacturer in Malaysia.

This is an Islamic syndicated financing which is coupled with sustainability parameters, whereby the profit rate is adjusted based on the level of gas and/or electricity consumption of the production facilities operated by the customer.
