Advised Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad and CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad (“financiers”) in connection with the syndicated Shariah-compliant facilities of up to RM2 billion based on the Shariah principle of Murabahah (via Tawarruq arrangement) obtained by Malayan Cement Berhad, a construction materials (e.g. cement and concrete) manufacturer in Malaysia, and which is a subsidiary of YTL Cement Berhad.

Advising the financiers was Partner Syed Rashid bin Rahim Alsree of Rahmat Lim & Partners.
