Disposal of APIIT Education Group by Asia Pacific Education Holdings Sdn. Bhd. to TPG’s The Rise Fund
Advised Asia Pacific Education Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (“APEH”) (an entity owned by private equity fund KV Asia Capital and the management of APIIT Education Group) on the disposal of its entire stake in APIIT Education Group comprising, among others, Asia Pacific University Sdn. Bhd. and APIIT Sdn. Bhd. to a consortium led by TPG’s The Rise Fund.
This disposal marks APEH’s full exit from its investment in the APIIT Education Group in December 2017, since its sale of the K-12 business to International Schools Partnership in May 2019.
Advising APEH were Partners Chia Chee Hoong, Ang Sinn E, Kelvin Loh and Pua Seng Yik.
