The TLS Rahmat Lim Scholarship Programme: Investing in Future Talent
Launched in 2025, the TLS Rahmat Lim Scholarship Programme is a joint initiative by our Chairman, Mr. Lim Teong Sit, and Rahmat Lim & Partners. The programme is designed to support Malaysian students pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) by easing financial barriers and providing a structured bridge into the legal profession.
A Pathway to Practice
Beyond tuition sponsorship of up to RM40,000, the scholarship focuses on long-term professional development. We provide scholars with a clear roadmap for their early careers, including:
- Guaranteed internships and pupillage to gain essential practical experience.
- Full-time employment opportunities with the Firm upon qualification
By combining financial aid with professional mentorship, we aim to give students the stability and guidance needed to transition successfully from academia to legal practice.
Supporting the Next Generation
To date, we have awarded scholarships to four students, supporting them as they progress through their legal education and into their early careers.
This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to mentorship and professional development within the Malaysian legal community. We look forward to continuing this programme in the years to come, creating new opportunities for the next generation of legal talent.
