Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
We believe that our value will be measured not solely by what we have won or achieved, but also by what we have contributed to our communities. As part of our CSR commitments, we take joy in sharing our time, knowledge and resources with various causes across the region.
Pro Bono Programme
RL&P provides pro bono legal services to deserving entities such as Hospis Malaysia, a charitable organisation that offers professional palliative care to patients who suffer from life-limiting illnesses.
Community Engagement
Every one of our employees across our offices is encouraged to support fundraising events and volunteer at charitable groups every year. We believe it is essential for our lawyers and staff to have the opportunity for regular hands-on experience in assisting and caring for the less fortunate members of our community.
Charitable Giving
We contribute to a vast range of charitable causes across the region, ranging from charities assisting flood victims, children in need, to the disabled or elderly. Among others, we continuously support the Children’s Diabetes camp which is organised by the Young Diabetics Support Group, UKM Medical Centre, annually. Besides contributing financially, our lawyers attend in person and assist in teaching the young camp participants to deal with their condition.
Thought Leadership
We teach at law schools and legal institutes, author articles that appear in a range of legal and professional publications, and undertake a variety of speaking engagements. Through our commitment to thought leadership and the sharing of knowledge, we aim to contribute toward the legal community and build a strong fraternity.
